THE NEXT STEP WORKSHOP SERIES
Are you ready to take your yoga practice to the next level?
Our series of Next Step workshops are monthly offerings, giving you the opportunity to try out new shapes, breathing techniques and advanced postures in a safe and supported environment. Each workshop will focus on a certain style of advanced posture and breathwork style, from arm balance to back bends and everything in between.
Our first workshop will focus on Chaturanga Dandasana or the humble yoga push up. Done correctly Chaturanga builds arm, shoulder & core strength. Done incorrectly and repetitively Chaturanga can lead to shoulder and lower back injury. Over 90 minutes we will deep dive into the anatomy and fundamentals of Chaturanga, explore the major muscle groups used in this shape & step through safe ways to build the strength required to make this posture a regular part of your yoga practice.
